Halfway through ERGO Hestia Europeans in Sopot
After the second day of racing there are no changes to the top spots of the classification.
Hubert Mokrzycki is in the lead, ahead of Wojtek Brzozowski, Michał Polanowski and Paweł Tarnowski. But it is only a couple of points between then and anything can happen.
11th overall is Maja Dziarnowska, the only female competitor in the fleet.
Today the conditions were very challenging, said Ewa Jodłowska the PRO of the event. The wind was strong and gusty with gusts up to 36 knots. In these conditions we were able to conduct only two races. After coming back ashore for the break we waited for the wind to die down a little, but it stayed strong through the day so we abandoned racing for the day.
Tomorrow we start again, with the wind forecasted to be a little lighter, but still enough for Formula racing.
